Terms of Use

Welcome to Rively. These Terms of Use ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and CODE SQUARE LTD (Companies House #15573592, England and Wales), the operator of Rively. By installing, opening or using Rively you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (16+ in EU territories where required) and capable of entering a binding contract. By using Rively you confirm you meet these requirements.

2. Your account

You can use Rively as an anonymous guest or sign in with your Apple ID. You are responsible for any activity on your account and for keeping your Apple ID secure (Rively does not store any password material on your behalf). If you suspect unauthorised access, contact help.rively@outlook.com immediately.

3. How you may use Rively

You may use Rively for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not:

Reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the app.
Use Rively to harass, abuse, threaten or impersonate another person.
Upload content that infringes someone else's rights, depicts illegal acts, sexual content involving minors, or violates any applicable law.
Use Rively to record drives that endanger people (e.g. uploading evidence of reckless / dangerous driving). Local traffic laws override anything the app shows or implies.
Manipulate score, leaderboard rank, streak or any other social metric by spoofing GPS or producing synthetic data.
Scrape, mirror or republish other users' content without their permission.

We may suspend or close any account that breaches these rules, with or without notice depending on severity.

4. Subscriptions (Rively Pro)

Rively Pro is an auto-renewable subscription offered through Apple's In-App Purchase system. Pricing is the same worldwide — Apple converts the amounts into local currencies at its current exchange rate; there are no region-specific discounts at this time.

Annual plan — $39.99 USD per year, auto-renewing yearly until cancelled.
Monthly plan — $9.99 USD per month, auto-renewing monthly until cancelled.
Free trial — a 7-day free trial is offered on first purchase (any plan). The trial converts into the chosen paid plan at the end of day 7 unless cancelled at least 24 hours before. Apple grants the trial once per Apple ID per subscription group; existing or returning subscribers are billed immediately at the plan rate.
Billing — payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation. Unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends, the subscription auto-renews at the then-current rate.
Cancellation — manage or cancel any time from iPhone Settings → your Apple ID → Subscriptions → Rively. We cannot cancel for you.
Refunds — handled by Apple under the App Store Terms. Request refunds via reportaproblem.apple.com; we will assist where we can.
Price changes — Apple will require your explicit renewed consent before any price increase takes effect.

5. User content

You own the drives, photos, stories and comments you post. By posting you give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to host, display and process that content within Rively for the purpose of delivering the app (e.g. showing a friend your drive). The licence ends when you delete the content or your account.

You are solely responsible for what you post. Reports of abusive content reach our moderation team via the in-app Report flow; egregious content is removed and posting accounts may be suspended.

6. Location data + driving

Rively uses your device's GPS to record drives. Do not interact with the app while driving. Set it up before you start, and only check the recap once you have safely stopped. We are not responsible for accidents, traffic violations or property damage that result from app use while operating a vehicle.

7. Disclaimers

Rively is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free, secure, accurate, or available without interruption. Smooth Score, leaderboards and any analytical scores are informational only and do not constitute professional advice on safe driving.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CODE SQUARE LTD's total liability arising from your use of Rively is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or, if no such amount, GBP 50. We are not liable for indirect, consequential or incidental damages including lost data, lost profits or loss of goodwill.

9. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold CODE SQUARE LTD harmless from any claim, damage, loss or expense arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of Rively.

10. Termination

You may stop using Rively any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or if continued operation becomes legally or technically untenable.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be surfaced in-app on next launch. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes go before the courts of England and Wales, except where mandatory consumer-protection laws in your jurisdiction apply.
